Tell us about a time when you helped someone overcome a significant barrier to successful fundraising.

In Latin America, asking for money is still quite the taboo. My husband and I love to encourage local missionaries to continuously reach out to their partners, share their needs in a clear and direct way, and keep them informed. Our favorite moment was opening our home and hosting for a young couple to share about their work with university students both to current and potential new donors. A few new individuals came and were able to hear about their work for the first time! Everyone went home with names of students to remember to pray (and give)!

Resting at home with my husband and two sons!

Where have you served cross-culturally?

I served one summer in Italy on a mission internship and just celebrated 6 years on the field in Bolivia!
