4 Quick Tips Before Your Next Financial Partnership Meeting!

Every person who initiates a meeting with a potential financial partner desires to clearly communicate their mission and walk away with a new partner in ministry. But how do you do that well?

1. Discover Their Passions

You absolutely must start your meeting by genuinely connecting with your potential new partner, and this isn’t just small talk. Give your potential financial partner an opportunity to tell you the things that are most important to them. Listen carefully. What do they love that connects with your mission?

Ideally, this person will be your financial partner for the long term. Knowing their passions and interests will show a deeper love and concern for them.

2. Tell Your Story

Keep it short and focused so they can understand more about you as well as more about the mission you are asking them to join. Use this as an opportunity to connect your mission with their passion.

3. Don't Forget To Communicate Your Core Messages

Clearly state your ministry’s vision (you can learn more about that here) and explain the core messages of your ministry. What are the 3-5 things you want someone to remember when they walk away from meeting with you?

If this idea is overwhelming to you, contact us and let’s talk about how we can help you get to a place of confidence in your ministry’s core messages.

4. Invite Them To Partner With You

You have a great opportunity to connect a potential financial partner to impacting this world with you; it’s your job to present that opportunity clearly. Tell them the specific impact that can be made by your funding partnership.
